The Church Council has scheduled an Information Forum for all members to be held in the Parish Hall from 9:15 to 10 a.m. on Sunday, October 5. Pastor Lyn will lead the discussion about the progress of the Call Committee and future direction of our congregational ministries. There will be time to address individual questions and concerns. Regular Sunday School classes will be held for the children.

Truly thankful for events like our annual spaghetti dinner
One of the many things we are thankful for at St. John’s is an event like the spaghetti dinner on Oct. 25. A great time for fellowship, the dinner is also one way we help those around us—with proceeds from the dinner helping people both through a local food bank and through ELCA World Hunger.
VBS begins on Sunday, July 20.
If you have not gotten your registration forms in yet, they are available for pick up and drop off in the church office. Also all who have registered for VBS can pick up their music CD by the usher station following both services today or from Linda during church office hours. We have enough CD’s for one per family and I hope your children will enjoy the upbeat songs and their special message.
